Over the extended weekend of 3-5th October 2025 the railway hosted its regular Bygones Weekend.
As ever, the event gives the opportunity for the railway to showcase the historical and characterful stock that makes the Ffestiniog Railway so unique.
As part of the 70th anniversary commemoration, Merddin Emrys and Prince both appeared in green earlier in the year and both featured heavily in the lineup which included multiple vintage trains, gravity trains (hauled up by double engines), double heading and freight trains.
On Sunday morning, a line up of green locos was to be found at Harbour Station including Prince, Merddin Emrys, Linda and Blanche, along with an appearance of Simplex Mary Ann.
