The popular play area at Tan y Bwlch now has its own train for children to play on.
The delightful wooden replica has been commissioned by the Friends of Tan y Bwlch group, sponsored by the Ffestiniog Railway Society and made locally by Howard Bowcott. It bears more than a passing resemblance to the Hunslet Quarry locos such as Britomart.
Hidden on and around the loco are pictures of various local birds and wildlife so the children can have a nature hunt whilst playing.
