On 27th April the 2021 operating season commenced on the Ffestiniog Railway.
With COVID-19 measures still in place, the service is initially following the same principles as those in 2020, based around vintage stock up to Tan y Bwlch.
One variation in place in 2021, and operating over the May Bank holiday weekend, is the ‘Mountain Prince’ service which runs above Tan y Bwlch, going as far as the barn just above Dduallt station. This gives the passengers the opportunity to see the views and the unique spiral at Dduallt. Details of services and booking information is available here.
