A recent shuffle in the carriage shed has seen carriage 22 released to traffic again, leaving the paint shop in time to rejoin the fleet for the Hunslet 125 celebrations this coming weekend.
Its place in the paint shop has been taken by carriage 21, a replica of the late 19th century tourist carriage. This long term volunteer-led project is about to be painted by the full time staff who will ensure it has a great finish.
