A new observation carriage has emerged from Boston Lodge works and was unveiled earlier in the week.
With a unique style and dark livery, this first class carriage has been numbered 150 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the introduction of passenger services on the Ffestiniog Railway.
It is going on tour to publicise the railway before officially entering traffic.
Following on from 2013’s successful visit of original England loco Princess, this new carriage is going to be on display on platforms 9 and 10 at London Paddington station from the 8th to 27th June inclusive.
All are invited to inspect this new £250,000 luxury carriage, built by craftsmen in our own workshops in North Wales.
