Local Area Groups

North Staffs Area Group

The North Staffs Group was formed in 1968 to provide a point of contact for all Ffestiniog Railway Society members living in the area bounded by Crewe in the North, Burton-on-Trent in the East, The A5 in the South and Mid Wales in the West. Today the Group raises money, mainly at our monthly Meetings in Newcastle-under-Lyme, for various projects on the Ffestiniog Railway and some members provide a lot of volunteer person days in the Traffic and the Parks & Gardens departments for the Ffestiniog Railway Co.
