Blanche undergoing testing
Over the winter, Linda has seen some use double heading with Taliesin on both Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland service trains. Linda has spent a few weeks in the paintshop seeing her paintwork refreshed and revarnished to restore her gleaming appearance.
Meanwhile, Blanche has seen maintenance work completed that started with coal conversion last year and new valve liners over the winter. She has commenced running in testing to ensure she is fit for the season ahead.

Some of the additional work carried out on Blanche has included replumbing the cab pipework to provide smooth copper pipe runs and bring in the changes following the removal of the oil firing equipment.
