Carriage Shed Shuffle

On Tuesday 19th May, some rearrangement of stock took place and so quite a few things were outside.

New observation carr 150 started the rearrangement with a move to the paint shop for its final painting and lining out.

1990s observation/push pull driving van 111 has been in the carriage works for a partial repaint and a varnish – it will be out in service next week during the three train service.

The new Well Wagon, funded by the Ffestiniog Railway Society & the Welsh Highland Railway Society, has been painted in the new lineside colour of green. It still requires the number and a few other bits painted on. This is to be used to carry plant and machinery to assist with lineside maintenance.

Ten years after it was constructed with Mike Seymour’s legacy, the Boat has been in the works for a clean up and a varnish.
