The Gloucestershire Area Group has existed for many decades and is an enthusiastic group dedicated to the Ffestiniog Railway and supporting it back in the Glocs area.

9th March 2018: Adrian Gray; “The FR from old Photographs, Part 4, Rhiw Goch to Tan-y-Bwlch”
Following a brief break last season, Adrian has returned to continue our journey through both time and space or, at least, the bits that are occupied by our favourite Railway. Having explored the major centres at the bottom end of the line, we are now about to head up into the woodlands that form the backdrop to the run from Rhiw Goch up through Plas and Tan-y-Bwlch. Why not come along to find out how much the trees have actually grown over the years!

20th April 2018: GROUP AGM commencing 19.30, followed by Members’ Slides. A little light Democracy, followed by a variety of photos of what we’ve all been up to over the year, and with any luck we haven’t all been to the same places! We can cater for both digital and traditional slides, so dip into your collection and bring something along.

The venue is just up the road from Montpellier and the Gordon Lamp. The meetings start at 19.30, and refreshments will be available during the interval. Parking is in the street outside, but can get busy! Do not park on the house forecourt as this is private.
